Scotland (Field-Based) | £55,500 – £66,700 per annum

We’re partnering with a national organisation to recruit an experiencedOccupational Health Advisorto support the delivery of a high-quality Occupational Health & Wellbeing service across their Scotland footprint.
This is afield-based rolerequiring regular travel and occasional overnight stays. You’ll be fully supported with acompany van, meal allowances, and the backing of a well-established in-house Occupational Health team.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in delivering an efficient, evidence-based Occupational Health service, supporting employees across a diverse operational environment. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of Occupational Health and Wellbeing initiatives across the business.
Reporting into senior OH leadership, this is a fast-paced and varied position offering real scope to influence health outcomes, policies, and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering a comprehensive
health surveillance programme
across the Scotland region
Providing timely, accurate advice on occupational health and wellbeing in line with
UK legislation and best practice
Supporting the development and continuous improvement of
OH policies and procedures
Managing your own caseload alongside oversight of OH Technicians, including weekly MI and trend analysis
Proactively referring employees to appropriate interventions, support services, and wellbeing initiatives
Working closely with
Operations, HR and key stakeholders
to drive engagement and collaboration
Delivering full end-to-end OH services including
case management, assessments and face-fit testing
Contributing to a growing and evolving Occupational Health function that plays a vital role across the organisation
What We’re Looking For
NMC registered nurse
(Part 3 of the register)
SCPHN (Occupational Health) qualification
– essential
Proven experience in
health surveillance and case management
Strong working knowledge of
UK OH legislation, HSE guidance and FOM best practice
A proactive, solution-focused approach to occupational health
Confident communicator with strong
digital and reporting skills
Good understanding of data accuracy and the importance of robust MI
Tier 3 HAVS qualification
desirable (or willingness to work towards it)
Full UK driving licence
essential due to regular travel
