OH Medical is currently looking to recruit an Occupational Health Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis to join a multidisciplinary in-house Occupational Health Team. The role is split between home and site working, so you will be required to travel to Sheffield when working in the office.
As the Occupational Health Advisor, this role will see you deliver a range of OH services, including the following:
Conduct telephone consultations and manage complex caseloads.
Provide evidence-based occupational health advice.
Generate concise fitness-to-work reports with advisory adjustments.
Use a bio-psychosocial approach and functional assessments for work recommendations.
Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team, obtaining specialist reports when needed.
Conduct pre-employment and mandatory medicals, health surveillance, and vaccination programs.
Supervise health surveillance programs, interpret test results, and manage contamination incidents.
Maintain accurate records through the eOPAS database in compliance with legislation.
Assist in delivering health promotion activities.
Provide individual advice for health and wellbeing, offering support and lifestyle changes.
Skill Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse
Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience).
Previous Occupational Health experience
Proven IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office.
