OH Medical are currently recruiting an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager to join our client on a full time permanent basis.
You will be joining the in-house team based on site in the Cwnbran area and required to carry out a varied remit inclusive of:
Act as strategic lead and principal adviser on all aspects of Occupational Health & Wellbeing
Provide leadership, direction and support to the staff within the Occ Health & Wellbeing function to ensure the delivery of a professional, efficient and effective service
Provide coaching, mentoring, development and performance management to the team, ensuring their wellbeing at all times and drive added value efficient customer focused service
To ensure specialist Occupational Health and Wellbeing advice is provided to assist managing sickness absence, rehabilitation processes, work adjustments and the promotion of health and well-being including sickness absence consultations, formulation of management reports and rehabilitation programmes.
To oversee and participate in the range of medical screening, interventions, immunisation and preventative health programmes and day to day clinical services acting as clinical lead on all occupational health and wellbeing matters
To provide clinical governance and ensure relevant advice is given
Essential:
Must be a registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Must hold an Occupational Health qualification at Diploma level or above.
Must have sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation, including the Equality Act, Medical Records Act, Data Protection Act and Health and Safety at Work Act
Must demonstrate ability to think strategically whilst having a strong focus on HR operational service delivery.

Salary – Up to £47,058 per annum (dept on experience) + benefits
