​OH Medical is working in partnership with Dyfed Powys Police and their in-house Occupational Health service to recruit a Registered Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Occupational Health team delivering health surveillance, screening, vaccinations, and health promotion services within a structured and supportive environment.

The role focuses on preventative occupational health, wellbeing initiatives, and compliance with statutory health surveillance requirements. It would suit a nurse who enjoys autonomy, variety, and proactive health promotion work.

Duties:

  • Deliver occupational health surveillance and screening in line with statutory requirements.

  • Administer vaccinations including Hepatitis B and annual flu programmes.

  • Undertake pre-employment health screening and medical assessments.

  • Carry out audiometry, spirometry, blood tests and exposure-related surveillance.

  • Support health promotion activities and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Provide advice and guidance on health and fitness for work matters.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure equipment is appropriately maintained.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider OH team to deliver a high-quality service.

Criteria:

  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.

  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience.

  • Background in Occupational Health, Practice Nursing, Community Nursing, A&E or similar.

  • Experience with vaccinations and/or phlebotomy (or willingness to train).

  • Able to work autonomously with good clinical judgement.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • IT literate and confident with clinical record keeping.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
