​​OH Medical is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for a part-time (2.5 days) permanent position as part of a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team of a market leading Occupational Health Provider. This role will be a hybrid position that will combine working remotely and onsite appointments.


The Remit:

In this role you will be responsible for the telephone and video consultations for initial assessments and remote treatment. As well as face to face appointments in the Newcastle, Leeds and Yorkshire areas. 


  • Responsible for all aspects of own workload

  • You will provide evidence based written reports providing advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to Occupational Health.

  • You will also provide clinical supervision and support to other team members who are less experienced

  • Maintain valid and up to date registration with the HCPC.

  • Contribute to the development of Occupational Therapy Service and Health Service, within the region and nationally



Requirements

  • Full registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist (Essential)

  • Eligible for membership of Royal College of Occupational Therapists (Essential)

  • BSc in Occupational Therapy (Essential)

  • Professional knowledge acquired through degree, in  functional capacity evaluation, workplace ergonomics, objective / standardised evaluation (Essential)

  • Ability to communicate specialist condition related information to employees, other health professional and non-clinical customers (Essential)

  • A knowledge of clinical governance and risk management

  • Demonstrates excellent written, verbal communication skills (Essential)

  • Full Driving (Essential)

  • Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)
