OH Medical is currently looking to recruit a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to enhance our client's overall wellbeing service. In this full-time, permanent position you will have the flexibility of office and home based work. You'll work closely with individuals and managers to provide support mechanisms, equipment, and realistic goal-setting.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll ensure access to necessary support, encourage attendance at work, manage risks, and provide guidance for a sustainable workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations.

  • Assess and address mental health barriers, creating work plans to support attendance.

  • Support individuals with mental health challenges at work using techniques like Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

  • Perform sensory assessments to reduce workplace anxiety and increase productivity.

  • Offer vocational rehabilitation for those returning to work after absences.

  • Conduct environmental assessments to identify group barriers in specific workplaces.

  • Develop and deliver training to managers and teams on health and wellbeing.

  • Provide detailed management reports with advice, pathways, and equipment recommendations.

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.

  • Ensure services comply with confidentiality and professional practice codes.

  • Maintain accurate health records through the eOPAS database.

  • Assist in health promotion activities and provide individual health advice.

  • Participate in clinical audits for continuous service improvement.

  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and KPIs.

Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Passion for excellence in client care.

  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent report writing skills.

  • Experience with Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

  • Ability to conduct assessments and deliver training.

  • Proven ability to manage a challenging workload.

  • Willingness to travel within the designated area for agile service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and qualified with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

  • Significant experience in the health sector.

  • Sensory assessment training (Level 3 Sensory Integration Practitioner) is desirable.

  • Experience in a multidisciplinary occupational health team.

  • Knowledge of health and wellbeing issues.

  • Understanding of relevant professional regulatory frameworks.
