OH Medical is currently seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join an expanding peripatetic team in a Full-Time permanent role. This exciting opportunity will have you predominantly based in Scotland with occasional travel throughout the UK. We are actively looking for candidates located in the Falkirk, Edinburgh, Stirling, Leven areas.
The Role:
Joining a leading Occupational Health Provider as an Occupational Health Technician to provide first-class health surveillance and screenings service in multiple client locations. As an Occupational Health Technician, you are provided with a Mobile Medical Unit, to undertake clinics for health surveillance and screening. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary OH team your duties will include:
Health surveillance including audio, spiro, vision, drug and alcohol testing, urinalysis and baseline measurements.
Health and wellbeing promotion
Maintenance and calibration of clinical equipment
Updating all OH records
Support multi-disciplinary OH team in their duties
Required skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Technician candidate you will need to have:
Previous experience as an OHT or also considered experience in one of the following backgrounds including EMT, Military Medic, Health Care Assistance (Hospital not Nursing Home), Graduate from Sports Science Degrees.
Strong IT Literacy
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with time management skills to meet deadlines.
An understanding of GDPR.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
