OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Wellbeing Physiologist to join the team of a forward-thinking Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-time Permanent role. This exciting opportunity will have you based in the Oxford/Northampton area; however, you will be expected to travel throughout the UK.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an Occupational Health Wellbeing Physiologist to deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health Service.
Your duties will include:
•Lifestyle clinical assessments of patients.
•Provide evidence-based advice tailored to the patient’s health profile (adiposity, biochemistry, blood screening) and stage of behavioural change.
•To execute written-based action plans, derived from treatment prescriptions, and adjusted to suit the relevant stage of change.
•Assist individuals with lifestyle-induced diseases in making sustainable lifestyle choices to improve the management of chronic conditions.
•Evidence-based exercise sessions to groups.
•Record and analyse physiological data.
•To be proactive in the design of health promotion campaigns empowering employees with the knowledge to make informed decisions on their health.
•Arranging clients and equipment into correct locations and positions for events.
•Act as a health and wellbeing role model, ambassador, and team player while developing and promoting a culture of health and wellbeing.
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Wellbeing Physiologist candidate for this role, you'll have:
•Previous experience with baseline measurements, health assessment, health promotion and interpretation of Clinical Data.
•A Qualification to degree level or equivalent in Sports Science/Health Science/Exercise Physiology/Sports Therapy.
•Previous experience in sport, medical, health, wellbeing or fitness environments OR have studied human physiology, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology or nutrition.
•A Qualification in Level 2 Gym Instructing, Level 3 Personal Training and Level 3 Exercise Referral are also desirable.
Salary & Benefits:

•Salary £28,000 - £32,000 (DOE)
