OH Medical are recruiting for a Physiotherapist in an Onsite role in Faslane. This part-time (30 hrs per week Mon - Thurs) permanent role will see you working for a leading OH Provider.
The Remit
Working as part of a wider multidisciplinary team to provide an effective Occupational Physiotherapy service your duties will include:
Provide accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment
Classify presenting clinical MSK disorders into work relatedness categories
Provide reports on employee’s fitness to work and any adjustments to their role that may be required
Lead onsite exercise classes
Communicate effectively with the wider occupational health team
Conduct DSE assessments and provide prophylactic advice
Identification of hazards within the work place and assessing the risks of the hazards to an individual’s musculoskeletal health
Conduct ergonomic risk assessments with Safety Health & Environment advisors on-site to identify risks to the employees within a specified area
Rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders
Contribute/run health promotion events
Skill Requirements
Registered Physiotherapist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Qualified Physiotherapist (BSc/MSC)
Proven post-graduate clinical experience in physiotherapy, preferable with a musculoskeletal focus
IT literate
Manual therapy post graduate training
Occupational Health Physiotherapy experience with experience of providing fitness for work advice
Health Education/Promotion advice
Basic Workplace ergonomics experience
Clear and effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
Efficient and well organised and able to work without supervision
Salary & Benefits
£34,000 - £36,000 per annum D.O.E
