Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Homebased (with occasional local travel)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + uplift for unsociable hours
Hours: Full Time or Part Time
Contract: Permanent
OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a growing and supportive team in a predominantly homebased role.
You will also be part of a service offering extended hours, with three late shifts per week (2pm – 10pm), supported by an uplift in salary.
What you’ll be doing:
Undertaking case management and producing clear, evidence-based reports
Carrying out workplace assessments and advising on risks to health
Delivering health surveillance and pre-employment assessments
Providing advice on both physical and mental health conditions
Supporting employees and managers with return-to-work plans and workplace adjustments
Maintaining high clinical standards and accurate, confidential records
This is a varied role where you will work autonomously while remaining part of a wider Occupational Health team.
About you:
Essential:
Proven experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration
Strong case management and report writing experience
Ability to work independently in a homebased environment
Desirable:
Experience in HAVS, Audiometry and Spirometry
You will be a confident communicator, comfortable managing your own workload and delivering high-quality occupational health advice remotely.
Working Pattern:
Full-time or part-time hours available.
Please note, this role requires three late shifts per week (2pm – 10pm). For part-time roles, availability for these late shifts is essential.
