OH Medical is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Health & Safety Advisor to lead safety initiatives across multiple sites for a major UK provider in the agrifood and public health sector. Working across locations such as abattoirs, border control posts, and storage facilities, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a strong, positive safety culture - protecting people, supporting operations, and ensuring compliance at every level.
What the Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be doing:
Conducting thorough risk assessments and identifying potential hazards
Developing and implementing clear safety policies and procedures
Delivering engaging H&S training sessions to staff at all levels
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety legislation and industry standards
What the Senior Health & Safety Advisor needs:
NEBOSH General Certificate (NVQ Level 5 / Diploma desirable)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health & safety role (food industry experience is a plus)
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Strong communication skills with a confident, collaborative approach
