OH Medical are looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor (SOHA) for an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, independent Occupational Health Provider. With a reputation built on referrals and recommendations, they pride themselves on delivering clear, robust, and evidence-based reports that make a real difference to small and medium-sized businesses. Our client has 16 years of experience delivering high-quality Occupational Health case management across London and The Home Counties.
The Role:
We are now looking for a Senior OHA to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in their next phase of growth while maintaining our clients' commitment to quality over quantity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Case Management: Conduct comprehensive case management assessments, pre-employment screenings, and night worker assessments. 
- Leadership & Support: Act autonomously to help lead and manage the clinical service, providing supervision and guidance to other team members. 
- Client Interaction: Engage with SMEs, ensuring reports provide detailed context, explanation, and evidence-based recommendations to support their business decisions. 
- Process Improvement: Assist in refining business operations and clinical processes to enhance service delivery. 
- Training & Development: Deliver customer presentations and training on OH topics such as managing mental health cases in the workplace. 
- Business Growth & Engagement: Support recruitment, retention, and induction of clinical staff, contribute to business development and raise the company’s profile through networking and content creation. 
What We’re Looking For
- NMC Registered General Nurse (RGN) 
- OH qualification (ideally on Part 3 of the NMC register) 
- 10+ years of OH experience, with extensive case management expertise 
- Strong understanding of OH and employment legislation 
- Experience working with SMEs and producing high-quality, evidence-based reports 
- Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills 
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and keen attention to detail 
- Ideally, experience with NHS new starters/immunity checks
