OH Medical is currently seeking a Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join our well-established and respected client based in Nottingham. This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. The existing team is made up of five Occupational Health Advisors and three Administrators.
The role breakdown is 50% clinical (case management) and 50% managerial. Some of the other duties include:
Case Management assessments
Fitness for work assessments
To support the OH manager to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the OH team.
To take a senior role in the development and provision of a pro-active Occupational Health Service.
Undertake defined projects as agreed with the head of Occupational health to support the delivery of high quality clinically effective care
Assist in the design and implementation of Health Promotion initiatives in partnership with the wider OH team
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 - £42,000 per annum

Essential Skills
Registration with NMC Part 1
Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health
Evidence of up to date knowledge base of professional and specialist issues
Knowledge and experience of working in occupational health
Clear evidence of managerial experience
Negotiation and motivational skills, ability to accept and deliver constructive feedback
Ability to work effectively independently and also within a team framework
IT literate
