We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join our client and their dynamic in-house team in Cambridge on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will support the Occupational Health Manager in the planning and organising of occupational health programmes and services. You will play a key role in providing expert occupational health advice and support to employees within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assessments: Conducting comprehensive occupational health assessments, including pre-placement and health assessments.
Case Management: Managing complex cases and providing guidance to the Occupational Health team on challenging cases.
Health Promotion: Implementing health promotion initiatives and programs to enhance employee well-being and prevent health issues.
Team Collaboration: Collaborating with the Occupational Health team to ensure a cohesive and effective service delivery.
Risk Assessment: Conducting workplace risk assessments and providing recommendations to mitigate health risks.
Health Surveillance: Overseeing and coordinating health surveillance programs to monitor and manage employee health.
Policy Development: Contributing to the development and review of occupational health policies and procedures.
Training and Education: Providing training and education to employees on health and well-being topics.
Supervision: Assist and line manage the Occupational Health Technician within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse with a recognised Occupational Health qualification (degree or diploma).
Significant experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor.
Proven experience in case management and conducting OH assessments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Salary & Benefits:
A salary of £40,500 - £54,400 per year.
