Salary: £46,000 - £48,000 per annum + benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week (4-5 days per week)
Are you a seasoned Senior Occupational Health Advisor ready for an exciting challenge? We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider in a site-based position covering two sites in Gloucestershire. This full remit position will see you working with an end client in the aerospace sector and becoming a key player in their dynamic team.
The Remit:
As the onsite Senior Occupational Health Advisor, you will use your excellent customer engagement skills to provide a first-class Occupational Health Service. You will be proficient in sickness absence case management, as well as pre-placement screening, and health surveillance including audiometry and spirometry with experience in the delivery of immunisations. With the flexibility to cover clinics in both Cheltenham and Bishops Cleeve. Your duties will also include but not be limited to:
Liaise with client and attend client meetings and events
Measuring performance of the OH Team, and providing mentoring and support as needed.
Preparation of OH policies and procedures in line with clinical governance
Carry out clinical audits
Deliver annual health promotion campaigns
The coordination of the daily delivery of the OH Service and providing leadership to the team
Performing extra work as needed according to your level of seniority and expertise, i.e. consulting on projects, research, training, and peer supervision
What Sets You Apart?
NMC Registered Nurse
Educated to degree / diploma level in Occupational Health is preferred but not essential
Previous commercial Occupational Health experience conducting case management and health surveillance
Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills are essential
Strong IT literacy is essential
