OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor in London. This is a full-time permanent position where you will be working from home with occasional travel to the client site in London as part of the Occupational Health team of a market-leading Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services Provider.

This role will cover the full remit of Occupational Health including Fit to Work and Health Surveillance, rehabilitation and wellness programmes. As the Occupational Health Advisor, you will:

  • Provide specialist advice and support to line managers and HR

  • Prepare the OH policies, standards, and procedures in liaison with OH provider clinical governance.

  • Liaise with designated client personnel at client meetings and events

  • Prepare objectives and targets for measuring the performance of occupational health service

  • Monitor referrals through collation, analysis and interpretation of health-related data

  • Produce progress reports and interpretation of client management information

  • Understand client processes and procedures

  • Review pre-placement health assessment questionnaires

  • Provide managers with occupational health advice on short and long term sickness absence cases

  • Proactive case management of frequent, short term and long-term absences

  • Health surveillance and fitness for work health screening

  • Annual health promotion campaigns

  • Provide advice and when appropriate implement programmes for health-related Health & Safety legislation including First Aid at Work and Display Screen Equipment

Requirements

  • Be a registered nurse with NMC Part 1 (Essential)

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma (Desirable)

  • Experience in Complex Case Management (Essential)

  • Health Surveillance & Safety-Critical Medical experience (Essential)

  • Be able to prioritise and manage their time effectively (Essential)

  • Can work confidently and independently whilst operating within a team framework (Essential)

  • Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)

  • Full Driving License (Essential)
