OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join the inhouse Occupational Health team of Great Orman Street Hospital, in a Full-Time Band 6 Permanent role. This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to become part of an established Occupational Health team at an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. You would be site-based working as part of a multidisciplinary team in London.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced an Occupational Health Advisor to provide a first-class Occupational Health Service operating to high clinical standards. Your duties will include:
Case Management Referrals – Max 4 per Day
Managing your own workload, and prioritising your own actions in the working environment
Prioritising daily clinics in conjunction with the administrative team and Band 5 OH Nurse
Use an evidence-based client centred practice approach to conduct initial assessment for a range of clients following work-related accidents and periods of sickness absence
Undertake all aspects of the occupational health provision as required, including the collection, recording, and storage of data accurately.
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:
An NMC Registered Nurse
Qualified to Degree/Diploma level in Occupational Health is preferred
Previously experienced in Occupational Health with experience of Case Management,
Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of best practices and their practical application.
An excellent communicator with skills, in both verbal and written communication, including proficiency in report writing.
Possess excellent IT Literacy and record keeping skills
Previous NHS OH experience is highly desirable
