Ready to take your Occupational Health career on the road? We're working with a forward-thinking private sector OH provider, and we’re looking for a motivated Occupational Health Practitioner to join their dynamic team, working 4 or 5 days per week!
This is aperipatetic roleoffering plenty of variety — you’ll be travelling to client sites across the Cambridge area, with the flexibility to work from home or the office when needed.
About the Role
You’ll be delivering a mix of health surveillance, wellbeing services, vaccinations, and phlebotomy, depending on the needs of the day. Full training and a structured induction programme are provided to help you hit the ground running. This is a great opportunity for a nurse with a passion for OH and a desire to grow their clinical experience across diverse industry sectors including manufacturing, engineering, and pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering health surveillance services (audiometry, spirometry, skin checks, HAVS, FLT medicals etc.)
Carrying out vaccination and phlebotomy services
Supporting workplace health and wellbeing initiatives
Providing support and guidance to clients on basic workplace health issues
Maintaining accurate electronic health records and supporting audits
Occasionally supporting admin or other duties from home or office when clinics are quiet or cancelled
You’ll work autonomously once trained, but always with remote support available when needed.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Immunisation and phlebotomy experience
Ability to work independently and manage your own time
Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience in audiometry, spirometry, ECGs, and health promotion
Knowledge of immunisation procedures
Basic life support training (within last 12 months)
