A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a proactive HSE Coordinator to take ownership of health, safety, and environmental compliance across its operations. This is a site-based role where you’ll play a key part in embedding a strong safety culture, ensuring full legal compliance, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
What the HSE Coordinator will be doing:
• Implement and maintain HSE policies, systems, and procedures, ensuring full compliance with legislation, standards, and audits.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and put preventive measures in place to safeguard employees, visitors, and operations.
• Lead investigations into accidents/near misses, track and report HSE performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver engaging HSE training (including inductions), coordinate emergency drills, and ensure correct use of PPE across the site.
What the HSE Coordinator needs:
• NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma would be advantageous).
• 3 years’ experience in a health & safety role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
