Occupational Health Nurse – Oxford (3 Days Per Week)
OH Medical is currently working with a well-established Occupational Health provider to recruit a part-time Occupational Health Nurse based in the Oxfordshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and motivated nurse who is keen to develop their career within Occupational Health while supporting employees across a range of client sites.
This role will involve three days per week, with travel to various client locations across Oxfordshire, delivering a variety of occupational health services and supporting workplace wellbeing initiatives.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced Occupational Health team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical services and supporting the management of occupational health programmes.
The role will include a mix of health assessments, health surveillance, vaccinations, and health promotion activities, helping organisations maintain safe and healthy workplaces.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is new to Occupational Health or looking to build on existing experience, with full support and guidance provided to help develop your skills within the sector.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out pre-employment health assessments and periodic health assessments
Deliver health surveillance programmes for client organisations
Provide vaccinations and phlebotomy services
Support and deliver health promotion initiatives for individuals and groups
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with GDPR and professional standards
Ensure medical equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and safe to use
About the Candidate
OH Medical is looking to speak with nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting employee wellbeing.
The successful candidate will have:
Registered Nurse qualification (RGN) with current NMC registration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail
A full driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
Candidates new to Occupational Health are encouraged to apply, as training and development support will be provided.
