OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor you will be homebased in full time permanent position working for a leading Occupational Health Provider with occasional travel around the midlands.
The Remit
This is a full remit role will be a mix of both telephone and face to face assessments, including a wide range of Health Surveillance and Fitness for Work Assessments. Where you will promote the health of all employees by developing and participating in health promotion programmes in conjunction with national health events and the requirements of the clients.
Advise employees on health problems and sickness absence assisting in their return to work
Provide occupational health advise to managers and employees
Health Surveillance, Pre-employment and fitness for work screening
Contribute to health & wellbeing campaigns
Skill Requirements
Be a registered nurse with NMC Part 1 (Essential) Part 3 (Highly Desirable)
Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma (Highly Desirable)
Case Management & Management Referral experience (Essential)
Health Surveillance & Screening experience (Essential)
Be able to prioritise and manage their time effectively (Essential)
Can work confidently and independently whist operating within a team framework (Essential)
Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)
Full Driving License and own Vehicle (Essential)
Experience delivering immunisations and venepuncture (Highly Desirable)
