Senior Occupational Health Advisor / Team Leader – Fixed Term Contract (6 Months)

Salary: £52,000 – £55,000 (Pro Rata, Based on Experience)
Location: Hybrid working – 2 to 3 days on-site (Stevenage, Bristol, Bolton)
Security Clearance: UK or Dual UK/British Nationals only (BPSS required)

We're looking for a Senior Occupational Health Advisor / Team Leader to join our well-established multidisciplinary team on a 6-month fixed-term basis covering sickness absence. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role and provide high-quality clinical and operational oversight across multiple UK sites.

Your Role at a Glance

  • Lead & Support: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the OH team and provide clinical leadership across sites.

  • Team Development: Line manage and mentor team members, supporting CPD and training plans.

  • Clinical Governance: Conduct quality audits, oversee complaints reviews, and ensure compliance with OH and HSE standards.

  • Service Delivery: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, drive improvement projects, and ensure smooth service coordination with administrators.

  • Operational Excellence: Manage appraisals, inductions, training, and team meetings to ensure high standards and a positive working environment.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience delivering evidence-based OH practice in a fast-paced, industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience supporting multi-site OH teams

  • Confidence in managing clinical operations, audits, and contributing to governance strategy
