Occupational Health Technician – Onsite Role (Jersey)
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (typically 8am – 6pm)
Location: Onsite in Jersey, with occasional visits to other client sites

OH Medical is thrilled to partner with one of the UK’s leading Occupational Health and Wellbeing providers to recruit an Occupational Health Technician in Jersey. What You’ll Be Up To:
You’ll join a friendly, multidisciplinary OH team, delivering top-quality health screening and surveillance services at our Jersey client site—and occasionally at other locations on the island. Full training and ongoing mentoring are provided, so you’ll have all the support you need to thrive. Your day-to-day will include:
Carrying out health screening: height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis, audiometry, and lung function testing
Conducting drug and alcohol testing with strict adherence to chain-of-custody procedures
Recording medical data accurately for clinical review
Supporting with PTS medicals and general clinic duties such as filing and equipment checks
Following clinical protocols and escalating appropriately when needed
Using your own vehicle for travel between client sites
Who We’re Looking For:
We want a confident, proactive individual who’s either experienced in occupational health or has a strong foundation in health and wellbeing, with a genuine enthusiasm for the sector. Relevant backgrounds include:
Occupational Health Technician
Health Care Assistant (hospital environment only not community or residential care assistant)
Fitness Instructor
Ambulance Technician / EMT
Military or Offshore Medic
Sports Science Graduate
You’ll also need:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong IT literacy and attention to detail
Self-motivation and a proactive approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Flexibility for travel within Jersey
