We are currently seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to join our client on a full-time, permanent basis. This position can either be based from their offices in the West Midlands, East Sussex or home-based. The successful candidate will need a full driving license and must be willing to travel to multiple sites to support their team. You will be managing a team of 12 employees and will ideally be on part 3 of the register.
The role breakdown is 2 days of clinical work and 3 days of management activity. You will responsible for ensuring clinical excellence in delivering a range of services to the clients, ensuring a clear focus is maintained on business objectives, company values, service level agreements and effective relationships. This is a great opportunity for a qualified individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive team environment.
Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide excellent clinical leadership to all clinical staff reporting to you.
Take responsibility for excellence in clinical governance within your contracts and staff.
Work with the HR recruitment team to effectively manage the staffing requirements for your contracts
Ensure that all staff are suitably qualified, inducted and trained
Undertake, review and record regular clinical competency review with individuals and audit clinical work
Carry out annual reviews, end of probation meetings.
Control internal and external costs
Develop and maintain excellent partnerships with the clients you support.
To support the Business Development team in new business acquisitions
Create and maintain a positive and supportive team culture with the staff you manage
Essential Skills
Previous OH Management experience
Experience of exposure to general management issues in OH service delivery including policy development
Committed to relevant CPD achievement and supporting colleagues with shared knowledge of OH industry
Experience of delivering risk-based proactive OH services and ideally of remotely line managing OH clinicians who cover a large geographical area
Auditing and appraisal skills to continuously improve the clinical performance of the OH teams
Strong presentation ability and confidence to present persuasive evidence-based arguments on clinical matters
Ability to assist with the recruitment of staff
