OH Medical is currently seeking an Occupational Health Advisor based in Sheffield. The role is a full time permanent position working for a very well supported / established inhouse Occupational Health team.
You will assist the Senior Occupational Health Specialist Nurse with guiding junior occupational health nursing staff on professional and educational needs.
To participate in clinical supervision
To assist the Senior Occupational Health Specialist Nurse in developing organisational policies through research, directives and standards pertaining to Occupational Health for staff use.
Manage own time effectively.
To implement and deliver inductions/teaching sessions as identified by clients or groups of individuals on various aspects of Occupational Health
To assist with ensuring that the Occupational Health Service maintains accurate records and storage for its clients in accordance within legal requirements.
To take responsibility for personal, professional development, keeping abreast of relevant changes and development of best practise, ensuring knowledge gained is shared with colleagues.
To assist with the induction and orientation of new Occupational Health staff.
To act as an effective role model and mentor.
