OH Medical are currently recruiting for a Occupational Welfare and Wellbeing officer to join our client on a full time permanent basis.
You will be based on site in the North West and required to carry out a varied remit inclusive of:
Provide information, advice and guidance to employees and managers on issues related to wellbeing and welfare.
Identify early intervention opportunities to help manage stress and reduce sickness absence.
Support staff returning from a period of absence through implementing welfare action plans and adjustments
Work with the HR team with welfare meetings, making recommendations and liaising with OH
Work confidentially with employees on wellbeing and welfare to achieve positive changes
Deliver a range of initiatives and workshops to promote and raise awareness for wellbeing and welfare
Skills Required:
Strong experience of delivering positive and meaningful outcomes in relation to employee welfare and wellbeing particularly mental wellbeing
Good knowledge of Occupational health, HR absence procedures and applicable legislation
An understanding, calm, empathetic and confidential approach with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for the employee and the manager advising on options and solutions
Ability to work in a challenging environment, manage a busy caseload working in partnership with others to help prevent sickness absence, support return to work and develop wellbeing and welfare plans
