OH Medical is currently seeking a talented Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join the onsite team of a leading Occupational Health Provider. Covering two sites in Warwickshire (Gaydon and Whitley), this Full-Time Permanent role will see you working 7:30am until 4pm Monday-Thursday, with an early finish on Fridays 7:30am – 12:30pm!
The Role:
This is a thrilling opportunity for an MSK Physiotherapist based in the onsite Centres for Wellbeing. The Centres objective is to offer reactive and proactive support to employees, addressing three vital Wellbeing Pillars: Mind, Body, and Life. With the aim to reduce employee illness, injury, and absenteeism, while also striving to restore both physical and psychological function following injury or illness. These services complement and enhance the existing Occupational Health referral process.
You will join the multidisciplinary Occupational Health Team, to support in the delivery of an exceptional Occupational Health service. Your duties as the :
• Providing workers with MSK injuries and disorders appropriate clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
• Categorising clinical MSK diseases according to their relevance to the workplace
• Reporting to management on the employee’s sustainability for work after assessment and at the time of discharge, along with any necessary short term, long term, or permanent modifications
• Directing exercise programmes on-site to help employees recover from musculoskeletal injuries.
• Conducting DSE assessments and providing prophylactic advice
• Identifying risks within the workplace and conducting assessments on how these hazard’s may aggravate an individual’s musculoskeletal ill health
• Conducting ergonomic risk assessments with Safety Health Advisors on-site
• Rehabilitation of employees who have MSK disorders, regardless of whether they are work-related or not.
• Gathering statistical information for report generation
Required skills:
• Educated to minimum level Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
• HCPC Registration as Physiotherapist
• Current CSP Registration
• Experience and knowledge of Ergonomic Assessments, DSE Assessments, Workplace and Workstation Assessments
• Excellent Communication and Report Writing Skills.
• Strong IT Literacy including understanding of General Data Protection Regulation Law
