OH Medical have a rare opportunity for a Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join an innovative manufacturing company in Knaresborough in an inhouse role for an ongoing contract role 3 days per week.
The Remit
You will be helping to kickstart their inhouse department undertaking the risk assessment and putting in place all policies and procedures as well as helping to source equipment for the clinic. Once operational your role will evolve into the following duties:
Develop and lead the health & wellbeing programme
Deliver Health Surveillance and Capability Assessments
Provide employee and management support in relation to short- and long-term ill health and absence
Ensure adequate and appropriate first aid provision is available at all times including Mental health first aiders
Skills required
NMC Registered Nurse - Essential
Occupational Health Qualification or NEBOSH Qualification - Highly Desirable
Hands on OH experience of operational issues, through generalist advice and guidance to managers within manufacturing. - Essential
Good communication and Time management skills - EssentialDriving license and own vehicle - Essential
Willingness to travel throughout the UK including overnight stays if and when required by the role/business - Essential
