We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our client and their team in Liverpool. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the health and well-being of their employees through comprehensive occupational health services.
As an Occupational Health Advisor, the key responsibilities will be:
Health Surveillance:
Conduct health surveillance programs to monitor the health of employees, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation. This includes undertaking audiometry, spirometry, and other relevant tests.
Case Management:
Manage individual cases, providing professional advice and support to employees on health issues, facilitating their return to work, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
Health Promotion:
Develop and implement health promotion initiatives to improve the overall health and well-being of employees. This includes organising health fairs, workshops, and other educational activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
Qualification in Occupational Health (Degree/Diploma).
Proven experience in an occupational health setting, with strong skills in health surveillance, case management, and health promotion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees and stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workload.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary of £46,000 per annum.
