Occupational Health Advisor Cambridgeshire / Suffolk area Full-time or Part-time Competitive, based on experience
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our client. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full OH remit on-site and remotely, including conducting health assessments, providing health surveillance, and managing sickness absence cases. We will also consider a trainee for the role.
Responsibilities: - Deliver and manage a full OH service across multiple clients - Conduct health assessments, health exams, and health surveillance - Advise and facilitate the appropriate management of sickness absence issues, including working with managers and HR to implement effective return to work plans - Work with clients to maintain good relationships and identify areas for further service development - Provide health and wellbeing advice and support - Maintain up-to-date records and manage data in line with company guidelines - Adhere to relevant regulations, protocols, guidelines, and service standards
Requirements: - Qualification in Occupational Health Nursing (degree or diploma) - Registered General Nurse qualification - Proven experience in providing high-quality occupational health services - Strong understanding of health and safety and relevant regulations - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to manage your own workload and work independently - Passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of employees.
Benefits package includes 25 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time), Bank holidays, EAP services, wellbeing events, health insurance, and excellent training opportunities. Mileage is paid at 45p / mile when travelling to clients.
