OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Physician to undertake a Full or Part-time Permanent role 3-5 days per week in Croydon. This exciting opportunity will see you working in an in-house department, with 2 days of work-from-home, delivering a first-class Occupational Health Service.
The Role:
As an Occupational Health Physician, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide expert medical advice, conduct health assessments, and support employees in maintaining their fitness for safety-critical roles. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting medical assessments for safety-critical workers
Providing fitness-for-work evaluations and medical surveillance
Advising on workplace health risks and preventative strategies
Supporting employees with rehabilitation and return-to-work plans
Collaborating with HR, safety teams, and external health providers
Ensuring compliance with industry health and safety standards
Required Skills:
Qualified Occupational Health Physician (DipOccMed minimum)
GMC registered with a background in occupational health
Experience in safety-critical industries (railway, transport, construction, etc.) is desirable
Understanding of railway medical standards (RIS-3751-TOM, Network Rail standards)
Excellent communication and decision-making skill
