 OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join a forward-thinking Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role. This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to be home-based however, you would need to be able to visit Head Office in Nottingham 1 day per week and have the flexibility to travel and work on customer sites as required.

 

 

The Role:

This role offers a chance for an experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to provide management support to colleagues within your team ensuring the Occupational Health Service operates to high clinical standards. Alongside providing day-to-day management you will also deliver professional advice across the OH Service. Your duties will include:

  • Oversee and manage the performance of multiple team members.

  • Ensure robust clinical audit and governance through active customer engagement, including feedback surveys, account meetings, and handling complaints and compliments.

  • Lead and manage various projects and change initiatives.

  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures.

  • Manage clinical contracts for specified customers.

  • Handle a clinical caseload, constituting 20% of the working week.

 

Required Skills:

To be the successful Senior Occupational Health Advisor you'll be:

  • An NMC Registered Nurse

  • Qualified to Degree/Diploma level in Occupational Health

  • Previously experienced in Occupational Health with experience of both Case Management, Immunisations, and current Health Surveillance Training Certificates & practical application.

  • Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of best practices and their practical application.

  • An excellent communicator with skills, in both verbal and written communication, including proficiency in report writing.

  • Experienced in line management and the development of other OH professionals

  • An effective Client Account Manager with experience in clinical audits and policy development

  • Possess excellent IT Literacy and record-keeping skills

  • A holder of a full clean driving licence with your own vehicle able to travel to head office and to spend time on customer sites
