OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join a forward-thinking Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role. This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to be home-based however, you would need to be able to visit Head Office in Nottingham 1 day per week and have the flexibility to travel and work on customer sites as required.
The Role:
This role offers a chance for an experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to provide management support to colleagues within your team ensuring the Occupational Health Service operates to high clinical standards. Alongside providing day-to-day management you will also deliver professional advice across the OH Service. Your duties will include:
Oversee and manage the performance of multiple team members.
Ensure robust clinical audit and governance through active customer engagement, including feedback surveys, account meetings, and handling complaints and compliments.
Lead and manage various projects and change initiatives.
Develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
Manage clinical contracts for specified customers.
Handle a clinical caseload, constituting 20% of the working week.
Required Skills:
To be the successful Senior Occupational Health Advisor you'll be:
An NMC Registered Nurse
Qualified to Degree/Diploma level in Occupational Health
Previously experienced in Occupational Health with experience of both Case Management, Immunisations, and current Health Surveillance Training Certificates & practical application.
Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of best practices and their practical application.
An excellent communicator with skills, in both verbal and written communication, including proficiency in report writing.
Experienced in line management and the development of other OH professionals
An effective Client Account Manager with experience in clinical audits and policy development
Possess excellent IT Literacy and record-keeping skills
A holder of a full clean driving licence with your own vehicle able to travel to head office and to spend time on customer sites
